Bob Poynter Ford Inc is looking for a motivated Quick Lube Service Technician to join our growing service team! This role is focused on fluid checks, oil changes, and basic vehicle maintenance while ensuring every customer's car leaves in top shape.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and routine maintenance services
• Inspect belts, filters, gauges, and tire air levels
• Test systems and components to ensure they are secure and working properly
• Identify potential issues and recommend service before breakdowns occur
• Use diagnostic tools and service equipment to perform tasks accurately
• Maintain efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all repair and maintenance work
• Communicate findings with Service Advisors and team members

Requirements

• Previous experience in an automotive service department (1+ year preferred)
• Ford certification or prior Ford dealership experience is a plus
• Knowledge of basic automotive systems and maintenance procedures
• Ability to quickly identify problems and follow repair processes
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Comfortable learning new technology and operating electronic diagnostic tools
• High school diploma or GED (technical degree or ASE certifications a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
• Positive, friendly attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
