Upperline Health is seeking a well‑trained Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide foot and ankle care in a clinic based in Seymour, Indiana. The candidate must demonstrate compassion for patient needs, have great attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment. As Upperline expands, this individual will be able to explore a wide range of career opportunities within the company.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Provide clinic‑based services and will be expected to maintain staff membership at the hospital.
- Assess patients with lower‑extremity complaints, review medical history, perform physical examinations, order imaging or labs, and develop and implement a clinical plan of care.
- Deliver comprehensive foot and ankle care, including at‑risk foot care, painful conditions, trauma, wound care, and surgical management when appropriate.
- Advise and educate patients and families on foot care, wellness, medication usage, side effects, and prevention.
- Maintain patient medical records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and Upperline Health standards and policies.
- Participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
- Prescribe medication as permitted by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
- Perform other related duties as deemed necessary.
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree with appropriate certification and licensure required.
- DPM license required—active license preferred or ability to obtain within applicable timeframe.
- Strong compassion for patients and their families.
- DEA registration or eligibility required.
- CPR certification expected and in line with state Board requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure effective and meaningful interactions with patients, family caregivers, clinicians, and team members.
