Salary Range: $65,000–$85,000

Position Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support product integrity, process improvement, and continuous quality initiatives. This position is responsible for implementing quality controls, leading corrective actions, and collaborating closely with manufacturing and cross‑functional teams to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret product drawings and technical standards to develop and implement quality control and product inspection methods.
- Monitor and ensure product quality on the manufacturing floor.
- Apply preventative quality techniques to reduce in-line defects and scrap.
- Develop, review, and maintain FMEAs, Control Plans, and Quality Check Sheets.
- Lead corrective action processes from initiation through completion with cross-functional teams.
- Generate and present quantitative reports on quality metrics to management.
- Supervise and support inspection activities with inspectors and technicians.
- Operate and interpret results from gauges, measuring equipment, and CMM systems.
- Analyze data to drive Kaizen, process improvements, and reductions in scrap, PPM, and cost.
- Participate in APQP activities and support new product launch documentation and process setup.
- Perform other duties as needed to support department and company objectives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret product drawings (including GD&T) and technical standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using corrective action disciplines.
- Proficiency in SQL, data analytics, and integrating IoT initiatives.
- Working knowledge of APQP, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and Capability Studies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communicator with strong presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and work within a collaborative team environment.
- Six Sigma certification or experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with 5+ years of quality-related experience in manufacturing.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
- Experience as a direct customer contact with major OEMs, particularly through Toyota Supplier Portals and Systems, highly preferred.
