Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Seymour

A federally qualified health center (FQHC) is seeking a skilled PRN Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy services within its 340B pharmacy setting. This per diem opportunity offers a set schedule during the week of October 5-9, with responsibilities centered on ensuring safe, compliant medication dispensing and excellent patient support.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (lunch 12:00 PM 1:00 PM)
• Friday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (lunch 12:00 PM 1:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare drugs and prescription orders for collection or delivery with accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee ordering and maintain inventory of pharmacy equipment and supplies.
• Apply best practice protocols for safe storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances.
• Verify prescription details with prescribing healthcare providers as needed.
• Maintain updated approved drug and controlled substances lists, verifying expiry dates.
• Monitor product displays, shelves, and overall pharmacy appearance.
• Address customer requests and resolve complaints promptly.
• Keep thorough records of inventory, patient data, and insurance claims.
• Support telepharmacy services.
• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager regarding pharmacy operations and staff needs.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacist license with verification.
• Recent resume and skills checklist.
• References available for verification.
• Spanish-speaking ability is a strong plus.

Experience with Liberty RX software is preferred to enhance efficiency in daily operations.
