1st and 2nd Shift Boiler Technician

A company in Seymour, Indiana is hiring 1st & 2nd Shift Boiler Techs to their team!
This is a direct hire opportunity!

This position is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient boiler performance while completing routine inspections, maintenance, and housekeeping tasks. On-the-job training is provided for motivated candidates who are eager to learn and grow.

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday /6am-2pm
• 2nd Shift: Sun-Thurs / 2pm-10pm

• Monitor and inspect boiler equipment, controls, gauges, alarms, valves, and safety devices.
• Observe and interpret readings to ensure boilers are operating safely and efficiently.
• Maintain proper chemical and fuel levels within the boiler system.
• Test boiler water quality and add chemicals as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures.
• Assist with general housekeeping of the boiler room and surrounding areas.
• Work closely with team members to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Communicate equipment concerns and provide input on repairs and process improvements.

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn; on-the-job training provided.
