1.General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Performs patient assessment and analyzes information.
Provides quality nursing care in an efficient and safe manner.
Evaluates the effectiveness of care.
Collaborate and coordinate nursing care/services.
Identifies and meets the expected outcomes of the healthcare consumer/ situation/department
2.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
Liberty Peritoneal Dialysis Cycler, Meditech, Omnicell, Philips monitor, Alaris IV pumps, NICOM (Non-Invasive Cardiac Output Monitor),
3.Required skills and minimum years of experience.
ICU experience, minimum: 2 years
4.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, NIHSS
5.Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
12 hour shifts, day and night, weekends
6.Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
All departments, Will never perform something not competent on (Must be able and wiling to float to Med Surg as needed.)
