American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift contract requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and prior travel assignment history.

• Work in the ICU/CCU setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12, 6:00 PM-6:00 AM)
• Labor Day and weekend rotation required
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Floating within scope required as needed to meet facility needs
• Uses Meditech Expanse EMR

• Active RN license (IN state or compact) required in-hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: CCRN, CMSRN, or RN-BC, PALS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• Meditech charting experience strongly preferred
• Skills needed include IV therapy, central/arterial/PICC line management, blood product administration, and TPN/lipids administration
• Experience with ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and titrating vasoactive/cardiac drips required
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients with complex multisystem needs
• Responsibilities include managing ventilated patients, CRRT/CVVHD, EVDs, ICP monitoring, and stroke/neuro care
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within an 80-mile radius
• RTO must be submitted with application
• Call-offs restricted to no more than one week
• Pending state licenses are not accepted
• Must indicate holiday availability at time of consideration
