American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

• ICU/CCU setting at a community hospital
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Required to work Labor Day and weekend rotations
• Floating within scope required as needed to meet facility needs
• Uses Meditech Expanse EMR system

• Active RN license (IN state or compact) required in-hand prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: CCRN, CMSRN, RN-BC, PALS
• Meditech charting experience strongly preferred
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency in IV therapy, central/arterial line management, and blood product administration
• Skilled in ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and care of ventilated patients
• Experience with CRRT/CVVHD and renal failure management preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU/CCU patients including management of multisystem organ dysfunction
• Manage complex cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, and renal conditions
• Administer and titrate vasoactive and sedation drips as needed
• Experience with CVA/stroke management, EVD, ICP monitoring, and post-neurosurgical care preferred
• Knowledge of LVAD/RVAD and transplant care (liver, lung, pancreas) preferred
• First-time travelers considered depending on experience level
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within an 80-mile radius
• Call-outs restricted to no more than one week prior to assignment
• RTO must be submitted for consideration
• Holiday availability must be indicated for consideration
• Completion of facility training modules required for clearance
