American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CCU night shift position requiring 2 years of critical care experience and IN or compact RN licensure.

• Work in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Required to work Labor Day and weekend rotations
• Floating within scope required as needed to meet facility needs
• Uses Meditech Expanse EMR system

• Active RN license (IN state or compact) required in hand prior to start
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• PALS required
• CCRN, CMSRN, or RN-BC preferred
• Minimum 2 years of CCU/critical care nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Meditech charting experience strongly preferred
• Skills required include IV therapy, central line care, arterial line management, PICC line management, and blood product administration
• Experience with ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and cardiac drip titration preferred
• Experience with CVVHD/CRRT and renal transplant care preferred

• Provide critical care nursing services to CCU patients with complex multisystem needs
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience level
• Local candidates accepted within an 80-mile radius at the local rate
• Call-outs restricted to no more than one week
• RTO must be submitted with application
• Indicate holiday availability at time of consideration
