Typical day as a Store Manager- Develop, coach, evaluate, and retain management and associate talent. Create sustainable talent strategies supporting team and company growth.
- Recruit and select a diverse range of associates and leaders.
- Invest in continuous training and development opportunities for self and others.
- Inspire and motivate a team to deliver results through clear feedback and coaching.
- Create a sense of teamwork, collaboration, and engagement among associates.
- Drive total store sales and understand sales growth and profitability.
- Build and lead a guest‑centric culture and use guest survey tools to improve experience.
- Champion credit and loyalty programs; educate and promote their benefits.
- Guide operational accuracy, process, and workload efficiency.
- Execute merchandising direction, product flow, inventory flexing, and signage for brand consistency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Talented in coaching, training, and engaging associates.
- Build rapport, trust, and communicate clearly to enhance growth and performance.
- Interpret and apply company procedures and policies.
- Use Zebra PDA, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and payroll/scheduling software.
- Work independently and within a team.
- Set goals, guide employee performance, and hold accountability for high performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
- 2–3 years of management experience (preferred).
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Team‑building skills.
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential functions, with or without accommodations.
- Lift, push, pull, and carry at least 20 pounds.
- Full body rotation and mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, reaching).
- Reliable transportation.
