AREA MANAGER II

Shafter, CA. Join Amazon Services LLC. Our operations network delivers millions of packages daily. We seek motivated, customer‑focused individuals to lead hourly workforce, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, performance, and customer delivery.

• Support, mentor, motivate hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with support teams (Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources) to develop plans meeting business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach.
• Stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable noise, temperatures, weather; outside loading departments.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs (if applicable).
• Lead and supervise a team of Process Assistants and NES Learning Ambassadors (2–5 front‑line non‑exempt leaders and 1–2 Learning Ambassadors depending on location).
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities per organization policies and procedures; may require support in both English and/or Spanish.

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Able to communicate fluently in both English & Spanish.
