Job Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic, knowledgeable, and inspiring Teacher of Maths to join our team. Teaching of further maths would be advantageous for this role. This role also comes with a TLR for the successful candidate to undertake the role of Mathematics Excellence Coordinator (MExC).
Salary and Contract
Salary:
Teachers' Pay Scales plus TLR 3.1 (£1,500)
Contract:
Permanent, part‑time or full‑time applications will be considered
Qualifications and Expectations
- Has a passion for teaching Maths and inspiring students.
- Can deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons across all Key Stage 4 and 5.
- Has excellent communication skills, and the ability to embrace and contribute to the vision of the Department and School.
- Can build relationships quickly.
- Believes every student can succeed – and works hard to make it happen.
- Brings energy, enthusiasm, and high expectations.

Safeguarding and Equality
Safeguarding responsibilities associated with this role may include engagement in regulatory activity, such as administering first aid or supporting an upset child. It will have contact with young people on a day‑to‑day basis. The successful candidate will have to meet the person specification and the post is subject to safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check and Children’s Barred List check.
