Laurel School seeks dynamic and passionate individuals who are interested in working as a substitute teacher at the Lyman campus (Grades PP-2) and/or the Butler campus (Grades 3-5).

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Follow lesson plans as set forth by the classroom teacher
• Assist with students in the dining room, study halls and on field trips
• Ability to judge classroom dynamics and take necessary action
• Willing to be on call

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and possess or acquire and maintain a State of Ohio issued teaching license, non tax certificate or substitute license. Previous teaching experience in applicants' preferred discipline and grade level is preferred. The successful candidate will also possess a positive attitude, excellent written and verbal skills, strong organizational skills, and proven success within a work setting that requires collaboration, cooperation, and collegiality.
