Tax Director

A leading integrated, fee-only RIA in the United States, it delivers a differentiated wealth management experience through a unique partnership model. They are seeking a Tax Director to join their team and support high-net-worth clients with comprehensive tax services.

• Provide high-quality individual, trust, estate, gift, foundation, and business tax compliance services
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies in alignment with client goals
• Review individual, trust, estate, gift, business entity, and foundation returns
• Handle Federal and State tax notices and audits
• Research Federal, State, and International tax laws and prepare tax memorandums
• Manage client accounts with respect to tax and foster client relationships
• Conduct internal business development and marketing activities
• Provide internal training and guidance on tax-related topics
• Manage and train other members of the tax group

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, JD, or MS in Tax required
• Active CPA, EA, or state bar license required
• 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting
• Extensive experience in Tax Advisory and Gift/Estate/Trust planning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
• Experience with CCH Axcess Tax & Bloomberg Income Tax Planner preferred
• Experience with research software and memo writing required

Salary: $175,000 - $240,000, Plus Bonus
