• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Work independently and as a team to drive maximum repair efficiency.
• Consistently and concisely detail and document repairs.
• Inspect and maintain shop equipment.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning to specification.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non‑technical manner to service advisors and customers.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
• Continue ongoing training to stay abreast of new technology and techniques on the vehicle model lines.

• Previous experience as an automotive technician preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Team oriented, flexible, high energy and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
• Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
• Regularly required to:
  • sit, stand, and walk
  • use hands and arms to handle, feel, or reach
  • speak and hear
  • use close‑vision abilities
  • operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license
• Occasionally required to:
  • lift or move up to 50 lbs
  • stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • work in low to moderate noise levels
