Social Studies Teacher - LTS, FTE - East Middle School

Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a Long Term Substitute (LTS) to teach Social Studies at East Middle School from approximately February 4, 2026 through April 1, 2026.

• Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability
• Creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth
• Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents
• Works collaboratively with other staff members

• Valid MN teaching license in Social Studies
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
• Strong classroom management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff

Salary ranges from $51,000 to $71,251 depending upon education level.
