Program Manager

Job Description:

We’re supporting an engineering team that’s building automated manufacturing equipment for a new fiber optic product used in the rapidly growing AI data center industry.

This role sits at the intersection of project management, procurement, supply chain, and engineering. You'll work closely with engineers, suppliers, and warehouse teams to ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and tracked on time so machine builds stay on schedule.

• Create and manage purchase orders and requisitions using ERP systems such as SAP
• Track materials, inventory, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for machine builds
• Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules, lead times, and order status
• Expedite critical components to prevent project delays
• Support receiving and verification of incoming materials
• Maintain project documentation, engineering revisions, and certifications
• Track project schedules and provide status updates to stakeholders
• Resolve supplier, shipment, inventory, and invoice issues
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams throughout the project lifecycle

• Experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or Project Coordination within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Experience managing purchase orders, suppliers, and inventory
• Ability to read and work with Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience supporting engineering or manufacturing teams

• SAP MM and/or Ariba experience
• Experience with automation equipment, manufacturing machinery, or industrial components
• Experience with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet
• Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI), equipment builds, or manufacturing projects
