Warehouse Order Picker – Day Shift (Start in January)
Location:
Shakopee, MN.
Shift schedule: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (Mon‑Fri), potential overtime when required.
Hourly rate: US $20.00 per hour.
Start date:
Mid January 2026.
Job summary:
Supports Operations by moving materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility with a variety of powered industrial equipment.
- Operate a variety of powered industrial equipment.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Use a hand scanner.
- Pick up incoming materials from the Receiving dock.
- Unload and put away stock in the Bulk storage area.
- Provide replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner.
- Pull and stock correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations.
- Transfer finished products to designated areas.
- Stack empty skids and pallets in designated areas.
- Operate a manual and/or motorized pallet jack.
- Use knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; report other problems to manager.
- All duties may change or new duties may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Employees are expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities, including immediately reporting hazards, unsafe work practices, and incidents to supervisors, wearing required personal protective equipment, and supporting safety committee activities.
Education & Experience- High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Material handling experience strongly preferred.
- Forklift certification required.
- Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
- Able to operate pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
- Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
- Hand‑held RF scanner, manual/motorized pallet jack, powered industrial equipment.
Material handler must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hr/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.
Material handler is medium‑heavy; lifting up to 70 lbs.
