American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Dept RN for a Level 3 trauma hospital night shift role requiring 2+ years of ER experience and MN licensure.

• Work in the Emergency Dept of a Level 3 trauma acute care hospital with 63 staffed beds
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00-07:30
• Required to work up to every other weekend
• May be placed on-call as needed for the department
• No floating required within scope, though candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital if needed
• Uses Epic (Excellian) charting system

• Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and TNCC (or CALS) required; NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Skilled in medication administration, continuous IV sedation, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Strong triage skills preferred
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Dept setting
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• RTO requests of no more than 5 days are ideally accommodated
• Previous staff or per diem employees must have a 3-month gap since their last shift to be eligible
