Job Description
Reporting to the Property Manager, the Professional Gardener is responsible for maintaining gardening needs for client properties. The individual must efficiently and safely execute the technical, physical and manual tasks of maintaining properties while maintaining open communication with the Property Manager. The individual will carry out direction from the Property Manager in a variety of manual and equipment‑assisted tasks while working to achieve high standards in a timely manner.

The position requires a team‑oriented attitude to implement all activities on job sites.

Requirements

• Be honest, respectful, hardworking
• Demonstrate outstanding communication skills
• Know materials, methods, and skills used in various landscapes common to the Midwest region, to include mowing on occasion
• Follow safety practices
• Pass DOT drug screen
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Remain in a standing or sitting position for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height
• Ability to traverse over rough, uneven or rocky surfaces
