Warehouse Lead 2nd Shift – MWI Animal Health (Cencora)
Pay: $27.05/hour (including shift differential)
Shift: Full‑Time, 2nd Shift Monday–Friday 12:30 pm – completion. Employment subject to screening tests.
- Spends much of the time training warehouse associates in duties and responsibilities and all associates in the safe use of equipment according to SOPs; observes performance to correct behaviors as necessary.
- May require use of a radio frequency (RF) device to perform daily tasks.
- Assists warehouse personnel with the efficient execution of order filling, receiving, stocking, and returns.
- May oversee shipping and general operations (UPS, emergency orders, or general deliveries).
- Continues to perform as an individual contributor, completing advanced tasks and decision‑making with detailed knowledge of the position and procedures.
- Provides day‑to‑day tactical direction and guidance to warehouse associates; responsible for daily workloads and recommending workflow efficiencies.
- Manages inventory, including monitoring levels.
- May use forklifts, reach trucks, and/or other motorized equipment to move inventory.
- Assists in supervision of the department, including assignment of work, coverage for associate vacations, and building volume.
- Participates in associate concerns such as reporting and follow‑up to supervisor.
- Utilizes computer system applications for proper operation and reporting.
- Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and state and DEA regulations.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Previous forklift certification required.
- Ability to read and understand the English language for product descriptions, names, and shelf labels.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
- Good overall understanding of DC workflow and ability to work with minimal guidance.
- Maintains a clean work area to prevent work‑related injuries.
- Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
- Team player with effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in operating reach truck, picker machines, pallet jack, forklift, etc.
- Maintains appropriate attendance and production standards.

$37,900 – $54,120 (National Average; actual range may vary by location).
