Location:
Shamokin, PA. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.
- Ensure correct order is obtained, patient properly identified and prepared for exam, and clinical history corroborated and documented while maintaining confidentiality.
- Utilize appropriate imaging protocol and optimize technical factors while maximizing patient safety and applying ALARA principles.
- Prepare and/or administer medications via vascular access site as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
- Evaluate images for proper positioning and technical quality; verify archival storage and/or data transfer; post-process data if applicable.
- Educate and monitor students and other health care providers.
- Assist licensed practitioners with interventional
Computed Tomography procedures. - Perform computed tomography procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. The role adheres to all organizational policies and procedures; additional department-specific competencies may be required.
Qualifications- Education:
Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required);
Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Field (Preferred). - Experience:
Minimum of 1 year related work experience (Preferred). - Licenses/Certifications:
ARRT Certification (Radiography) or NMTCB Certification; ARRT-R or NMTCB certification required for new graduates prior to first day of employment; need to complete steps for advancing to level 2 (advanced certification) within 24 months of hire for applicants hired after March 10, 2024. Current or upcoming certifications must be in good standing as required by governing bodies. - Other:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; CNMT (Nuclear Medicine Technologist) may be required depending on role responsibilities.
