THE ROLEAs a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you help support the provision of retail services to our unique client base – members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). You manage all incoming and outgoing merchandise, verify deliveries, complete documentation, and ensure proper tracking in the point‑of‑sale system.
You create price tags from purchase orders, conduct verification checks to ensure proper pricing and inventory, load and unload merchandise, pack and unpack, assemble and disassemble merchandise, set up displays and signage, prepare transfers for outgoing items, and order store supplies. You may also fill customer orders.
This role requires teamwork, modernised technology, and an understanding of the unique pressures and rewards of military service to provide a superior customer experience.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation, certifications, and licenses:
- Acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
- Valid Driver’s Licence (Quebec)
- Forklift Operator certification (if required)
- Shipping and receiving, warehousing and pricing of merchandise
- Stocking shelves
