Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

Sedar Global is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have solid accounting experience and are ready to contribute to the company's daily financial operations across its Middle East branches.

The ideal candidate should currently be residing in the UAE, be available for immediate joining, and possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and reconciliation processes. Home country accounting experience will also be considered for suitable applicants.

• Manage daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain VAT documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with reporting requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to process financial transactions efficiently.

• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience (home country experience is acceptable).
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Strong knowledge of Bank reconciliation and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of VAT compliance, documentation, and accounting software/ERP systems
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a Related Field.
