Junior Accountant
We are a reputable accounting firm located in Sharjah and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with no prior accounting experience who is looking to start their career in the field.
Candidates must be fluent in English and hold an Indian nationality or valid visa. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month.
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, record keeping, and filling
- Prepare financial statements and reports under the supervision of senior accountants
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial transactions
- Follow up on outstanding payments or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Participate in audits as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Indian nationality or valid visa holder (sponsorship will not be provided)
- Proactive attitude towards learning and growth within the company
