Senior Accountant - Sharjah, UAE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Conduct regular analysis of financial data to identify trends and variances
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
• Train and supervise junior accounting staff
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
• CPA or ACCA certification is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (IFRS experience preferred)
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills is a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (SAP experience is a plus)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
• Biometric passport for travel purposes is required
