Contract Accountant (Indian Preferred)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing data, and preparing financial reports for our company. This is a contract position with the potential for extension.

• Manage daily financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Analyze financial data and prepare accurate and timely reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to gather necessary information for financial reporting.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide support during audits.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficient in using accounting software such as Quick Books or SAP.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Preference will be given to Indian candidates who have experience working in the UAE.
