Indian Accountant (Contract) - Sharjah, UAE

We are currently seeking a skilled Indian Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. This is a contract position with the opportunity for extension based on performance. As an Indian Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records for the company.

• Record and maintain financial transactions using accounting software
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
• Calculate and file taxes in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Monitor company expenses and create budgets to ensure financial stability
• Communicate with clients regarding billing and payment inquiries
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and procedures
• Stay updated on relevant accounting laws and regulations in the UAE

• Indian nationality preferred
• Fluent in English (ability to speak Arabic is a plus)
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Familiarity with accounting software (Quickbooks, Tally, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to work on a contract basis with accommodation provided if needed
