Job Purpose
To support the Business Unit Manager with operational reporting, costing, data analysis, profitability analysis, and management presentations. The role requires strong Excel, analytical, and commercial skills to convert complex data into clear business insights.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze sales, costing, pricing, margin, markup, profitability, and variance reports.
- Manage and consolidate large Excel datasets and develop dashboards and management reports.
- Perform data analysis using Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, and advanced Excel formulas.
- Prepare product costing and support pricing and profitability decisions.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and operational performance.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and management reports with clear business insights.
- Identify data trends, variances, and areas for operational improvement.
- Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Operations, and other departments for accurate reporting.
- Maintain high accuracy, confidentiality, and timely submission of reports.
- Support the Business Unit Manager with ad-hoc analysis and business requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, costing, margins, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, dashboards, and data validation.
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Knowledge of accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, MIS reporting, accounting support, costing, or business analysis.
- Experience in automotive parts, batteries, trading, distribution, or a similar commercial environment is preferred.
