Junior Accountant

AW Fashion is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Sharjah. The selected candidate will assist with daily accounting operations while ensuring financial records remain accurate across multiple business branches.

This role is ideal for candidates who have a solid understanding of accounting principles, enjoy working with numbers, and can efficiently manage reconciliations, documentation, and financial transactions in a fast-paced retail or trading environment.

• Manage purchase transactions and accounts payable activities.
• Perform supplier reconciliations and monitor ageing reports.
• Reconcile daily sales records and POS transactions.
• Maintain inventory and stock reconciliations.
• Carry out cash and bank reconciliations.
• Handle inter-company accounting transactions.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting.

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Experience using ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Previous retail or trading accounting experience is an advantage.
• Ability to manage accounting activities for multiple branches and high transaction volumes.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounts Payable and Supplier Reconciliation
• Cash, Bank, and Inventory Reconciliation
• ERP Systems and Microsoft Excel Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
