Roles & Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports; analyse financial data for discrepancies and trends to inform management decisions. - General Ledger and Account Management:
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, subsidiary accounts, and monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting. - Audit and Compliance:
Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare documentation for auditors, and ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies. - Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost analysis to support strategic planning. - Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance on accounting procedures. - Operational Support:
Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash flow, and other day-to-day accounting operations. - Process Improvement:
Recommend ways to reduce costs, enhance revenue, and improve internal financial processes. - Cross-Department
Collaboration:
Work with other departments to ensure financial processes align with business objectives and support operational efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum 5 years of senior accounting role.
- Prior experience multi-branch operation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency of accounting, financial reporting, VAT, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software / ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; strong working knowledge of Word.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to supervise staff, manage deadlines, and work under pressure.
