Accountant, Cost Accountant, Financial Reporting

A new insulation materials manufacturing factory, currently under establishment in Umm Al Quwain, is looking for an Accountant to join the team from the setup stage.

• Record daily accounting entries and maintain the general ledger
• Calculate product costs and analyze production costs (raw materials, labor, overheads)
• Set up and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and link them to manufacturing and inventory operations
• Perform monthly closing
• Prepare profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Prepare bank reconciliations and customer/supplier account reconciliations
• Prepare and file VAT returns
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing company in the UAE
• Experience in cost accounting and BOM processes
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
• Experience with Odoo, preferably the Manufacturing and Inventory modules
• Advanced Excel skills

Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a start-up environment.
