Overview

Library Assistant (Malayalee) - Sharjah, UAE. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Library Assistant in Sharjah, UAE. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Librarian in managing the library and providing support to library users.

• Provide excellent customer service to library users, including answering inquiries and assisting with locating materials
• Assist with the organization and maintenance of library collections, including shelving books and other materials
• Process new library materials, including labeling, cataloging, and entering into digital databases
• Monitor and track library inventory, making recommendations for ordering new materials as needed
• Assist with planning and implementation of library programs and events for the community
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the library space
• Collaborate with other staff members to develop strategies for improving library services

• Malayalee nationality preferred
• No previous experience required; training will be provided on-the-job
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively in English is a plus but not required
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Comfortable working with technology such as computers and digital databases

• Salary of 1200$ per month
