Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in ATVs, UTVs, buggies, and similar off-road vehicles.
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, brake servicing, and tire/suspension work.
Carry out engine repairs and overhauls, including troubleshooting fuel systems, transmissions, and drive trains.
Install and repair parts, accessories, and aftermarket upgrades.
Maintain accurate service records, parts usage logs, and repair reports.
Ensure workshop tools, equipment, and safety standards are properly maintained.
Coordinate with the sales/rental team on vehicle availability and turnaround times.
Advise management on spare parts inventory needs based on common repairs.
Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, or similar powersports/off-road vehicles.
Strong knowledge of small engines, 2-stroke/4-stroke systems, and off-road vehicle mechanics.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further technical education in automotive technology is preferred.
- ASE certification or equivalent qualifications demonstrating expertise in various automotive repair areas.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a professional mechanic role, with a focus on both diagnostics and repairs.
- Familiarity with a range of vehicle makes and models, showcasing versatility and adaptability in the workplace.
