We have an urgent requirement for Estimation Manager in Construct Domain is required for one of our clients in Sharjah

Job Summary

The Estimation Manager is responsible for leading the estimation function for all construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates, competitive tender submissions, and effective bid strategies. The role involves reviewing project specifications, drawings, and contract documents, coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders, and managing the preparation of comprehensive cost estimates for civil, building, infrastructure, MEP, and fit‑out projects.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial bids for construction projects.
  • Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, BOQs, and contract requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of bids and compliance with client requirements.
  • Develop accurate project budgets and pricing structures.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
  • Analyze labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify commercial opportunities.
  • Evaluate contract conditions and highlight potential contractual risks.
  • Coordinate with project teams during project handover.
  • Support project teams during variation pricing and claims preparation.
  • Prepare estimation reports for senior management.
  • Implement best practices in estimation and tender management.
Self-Management
  • Defines annual performance objectives in consultation with the reporting manager.
  • Takes ownership of professional development and continuous learning.
  • Keeps abreast of market trends, construction methodologies, and cost developments.
  • Demonstrates leadership, accountability, and commitment to organizational goals.
  • Promotes a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Educational Qualifications and Certificates
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • PMP, Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS) preferred.
Skills
  • Candy / Plan Swift / CostX.
  • ERP Systems (Oracle Fusion).
  • BOQ preparation and analysis.
  • Tendering and bid management.
  • Contract review and commercial evaluation.
