Job Responsibilities
Review tender documents drawings specifications BOQ scope of work and contract conditions
Prepare and review tender submissions quotations and commercial offers
Analyze BOQ quantities specifications and project requirements
Assist with quantity take-off rate analysis and cost estimation
Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
Conduct commercial comparison and quotation analysis
Identify contractual commercial and technical risks exclusions and qualifications
Review contract conditions scope payment terms bonds insurance LDs and other commercial clauses
Prepare clarifications RFIs tender queries and commercial qualifications
Coordinate with Estimation Quantity Surveying Technical Procurement and Project teams
Assist in preparing tender reports bid summaries and recommendation reports
Maintain tender documentation and ensure timely submission of bids Support negotiations with clients consultants subcontractors and suppliers
Assist in the contract award and handover process from Pre-Contract to Post-Contract Project team Maintain a proper record of tender correspondence quotations and commercial documents.
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in
** Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field**. - 3–5 years of relevant experience in
** Pre-Contract, Tendering, Contracts or Commercial
** roles. - Fresh graduates with strong knowledge of construction contracts and tendering may also be considered for Junior positions.
- Good understanding of
** BOQ, quantity take-off, rate analysis and cost estimation**. - Familiarity with
** FIDIC and other standard forms of construction contracts
** is an advantage. - Ability to review
** tender documents, specifications, drawings and contract conditions**. - Good understanding of
** subcontractor and supplier quotation evaluation**. - Strong analytical and commercial skills with attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of
** MS Excel and MS Office**; knowledge of AutoCAD and quantity take-off software is an advantage. - Ability to identify
** commercial risks, exclusions, qualifications and contractual obligations**. - Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet
** tender submission deadlines**. - Strong documentation, organization and follow-up skills.
- UAE/GCC construction experience is an advantage.
