Job Description / Role:We are seeking a qualified Estimator with proven experience in roads and infrastructure projects to join our Estimation Department.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in tendering, quantity take-offs, BOQ analysis, cost estimation, rate build-ups, and supplier/subcontractor quotation evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual requirements.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, pricing sheets, and detailed rate build-ups.
- Obtain, analyse, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Identify BOQ discrepancies, scope gaps, commercial risks, and cost implications.
- Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure competitive and accurate tender submissions.
- Support tender clarifications, commercial evaluations, negotiations, and final submissions.
Required:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in roads and infrastructure estimation and tendering.
- Candidates must have relevant estimation and tendering experience in the roads and infrastructure contracting industry.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Skills Required:- Strong knowledge of BOQs, construction drawings, specifications, and quantity measurement.
- Knowledge of CESMM or equivalent methods of measurement is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, cost estimation, and detailed rate analysis.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and tendering procedures is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and organizational skills.
