The Marble Site Engineer is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing all marble and natural stone installation works at the project site. The role ensures that marble works are executed according to approved shop drawings, material specifications, project requirements, quality standards, and project schedules and will be reporting to project Managers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise marble installation works, including flooring, wall cladding, staircases, countertops, skirting, and decorative stone works.
- Ensure installation is carried out according to approved shop drawings and specifications.
- Check marble materials delivered to the site against approved samples and specifications.
- Monitor daily site activities and coordinate with marble masons, installers, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with factory teams regarding fabrication and delivery schedules.
- Ensure correct alignment, leveling, joint spacing, and finishing.
- Coordinate site measurements and setting-out activities.
- Monitor safe handling, lifting, and transportation of marble slabs with proper storage in site.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and cutting equipment.
- Monitor manpower productivity, material requirements and work progress.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding site constraints and delays.
- Prepare daily and weekly work progress reports.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
- 2– 3 years of experience in marble and natural stone installation works.
- Experience in marble flooring, wall cladding, staircases, countertops, Vanities work etc.
- Ability to read architectural and marble shop drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in site measurements, quantity calculations, and material estimation.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
