Responsibilities
Process customer transactions efficiently using cash registers and point-of-sale systems, ensuring accuracy in all monetary exchanges.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries, resolving issues and maintaining a friendly demeanor throughout interactions.
Maintain an organized and clean checkout area, ensuring that all items are properly displayed and stocked for customer convenience.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions carefully, counting and balancing cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, showcasing foundational education.
- Experience in a retail or customer service role for at least 1–2 years, demonstrating familiarity with cash handling.
- Certifications in cash handling or customer service excellence can give candidates an edge.
- Candidates with experience in fast‑paced environments are highly desirable, as they can adapt quickly.
