As a Junior Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry, you will work closely with experienced pediatric dentists to provide high‑quality dental care tailored specifically to young patients. You will be instrumental in creating a positive dental experience for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in performing comprehensive dental examinations and diagnosing dental conditions in pediatric patients.
- Support the development of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a senior pediatric dentist.
- Perform basic dental procedures, including preventive care, simple restorations, and routine cleanings.
- Educate children and parents about proper oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive care.
- Utilize effective communication and child‑friendly techniques to ease patient anxieties and promote comfort during visits.
- Participate in training and professional development initiatives to enhance knowledge and skills in pediatric dentistry.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of patient care and a seamless workflow within the clinic.
- Dentistry degree (DDS or DMD) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency in Pediatric Dentistry is preferred but not mandatory for junior roles.
- Active and valid state dental license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and their families.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and professionalism in working with young patients.
- Basic knowledge of pediatric dental procedures and children’s oral health.
- Enthusiasm for learning and the desire to grow within the field of pediatric dentistry.
