Job DescriptionThe Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the dentist during procedures, sterilizing instruments, preparing materials, and providing patient care. The successful candidate will also provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care, take x-rays, maintain patient records and perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. The assistant must demonstrate a professional attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications & SkillsThe ideal candidate must possess a minimum of one year of work experience as a Dental Assistant or in the dental field. Additionally, the successful candidate should have knowledge of dental terminology, understand basic dental hygiene procedures, comply with safety regulations and be comfortable working with patients of all ages. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail are essential.
