Dental Assistant job vacancy in Sharjah UAE
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. The successful Dental Assistant will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance and patient care in a friendly, professional manner.
The successful candidate should have a basic understanding of dental procedures and excellent patient care skills. A pleasant and reassuring attitude towards patients is essential. The ability to work effectively with other healthcare professionals while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor is an important quality for a Dental Assistant.
The main duties of the role include preparing treatment rooms, greeting patients, taking radiographs, sterilizing instruments, charting existing conditions of teeth and gums, applying topical fluoride or other cavity preventing agents, and taking impressions of patient's teeth. The Dental Assistant must also update patient records, book appointments, process payments from patients or third party payers; order supplies; maintain inventory; answer telephones;
schedule appointments; and provide information about available services.
We are offering 1100 AED/month salary for this position. Previous experience as a dental assistant is not required but knowledge of medical terminology is preferred; however we are willing to consider foreign applicants with no work experience in the field as long as they have the right attitude and commitment to learn the profession quickly.
