We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Consultant/Specialist Gastrointestinal Surgeon to join our esteemed medical team. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans that include both surgical and non-surgical options based on patient needs.
- Perform advanced gastrointestinal surgeries, emphasizing the use of minimally invasive techniques when appropriate.
- Manage all aspects of pre-operative and post-operative patient care, ensuring comprehensive recovery and addressing any complications.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care solutions.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment pathways, and post-operative care.
- Participate in clinical research and continuous learning to contribute to the advancement of gastrointestinal surgery.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, complying with all healthcare regulations.
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Completion of residency training in General Surgery, followed by a fellowship in Gastrointestinal Surgery.
- Current and active medical license for practice in the relevant location.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant/Specialist in Gastrointestinal Surgery.
- Expert knowledge in managing a range of gastrointestinal disorders and performing complex surgical procedures.
- Strong clinical skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A collaborative team player with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Dedication to ongoing education and professional growth within the surgical field.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
