Junior Consultant Radiologist-Government Facility

As a Junior Consultant Radiologist, you will play a pivotal role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients through the interpretation of medical imaging.
In this position, you will work closely with a team of experienced radiologists and healthcare professionals, receiving mentorship while contributing to high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include conducting imaging assessments, generating diagnostic reports, and participating in multidisciplinary team discussions.
Responsibilities:- Conduct and interpret medical imaging studies across a variety of modalities, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds
- Prepare and deliver clear and detailed imaging reports to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development in radiology practices
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines in all procedures
- Contribute to departmental meetings, quality improvement projects, and research initiatives
- Medical degree specializing in Radiology
- Completion of a residency program in Radiology
- Prior experience in interpreting imaging studies (internships or clinical experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of anatomical, pathological, and imaging principles
- Proficiency in various imaging techniques, including X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Motivation to learn and grow within a government healthcare setting
- Commitment to patient safety and adherence to quality standards
