Search Plus HR is excited to announce an opening for a Junior Consultant Radiologist at a distinguished government facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to public health by providing essential radiological services in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a Junior Consultant Radiologist, you will play a pivotal role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients through the interpretation of medical imaging.

In this position, you will work closely with a team of experienced radiologists and healthcare professionals, receiving mentorship while contributing to high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include conducting imaging assessments, generating diagnostic reports, and participating in multidisciplinary team discussions.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and interpret medical imaging studies across a variety of modalities, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds
  • Prepare and deliver clear and detailed imaging reports to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development in radiology practices
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines in all procedures
  • Contribute to departmental meetings, quality improvement projects, and research initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree specializing in Radiology
  • Completion of a residency program in Radiology
  • Prior experience in interpreting imaging studies (internships or clinical experience preferred)
  • Solid understanding of anatomical, pathological, and imaging principles
  • Proficiency in various imaging techniques, including X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Motivation to learn and grow within a government healthcare setting
  • Commitment to patient safety and adherence to quality standards
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare laws and regulations
