Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnosis of patients with various cardiac conditions.
- Perform a range of complex surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart valve replacements, and other interventional heart surgeries.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patients.
- Oversee preoperative and postoperative care to ensure the best possible recovery outcomes for patients.
- Engage patients and their families in discussions about treatment options and educate them on the surgical process and recovery.
- Participate in cutting-edge research initiatives aimed at advancing cardiac surgical techniques and patient care protocols.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical institution.
- Completion of residency training in General Surgery and a fellowship in Cardiac Surgery.
- Board certification in Cardiac Surgery is required.
- At least 5 years of experience performing cardiac surgeries.
- Proficient in a variety of surgical techniques relevant to cardiac conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical teams.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations and make timely decisions.
- Current medical license valid in the state of practice.
