Specialist Psychiatrist | Australian Qualifide - Multispecialty Healthcare
Search Plus HR is seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist Psychiatrist to join a reputable multispecialty healthcare group in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with a wide range of mental health conditions, ensuring evidence-based and patient-centred care.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct psychiatric assessments, including detailed medical, psychological, and mental health evaluations.
Diagnose and manage a broad range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental health conditions.
Develop individualised treatment plans incorporating medication management, psychotherapy, and other appropriate interventions.
Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans according to clinical needs.
Assess and manage patients presenting with acute psychiatric symptoms and mental health crises.
Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
Provide counselling and psychoeducation to patients and their families, where appropriate.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with patient confidentiality, clinical governance, and safety standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and continuing professional development.
Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
Recognised postgraduate specialist qualification in Psychiatry.
UK or Australian specialist training and qualifications, as applicable.
Relevant clinical experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric treatment and psychopharmacology.
Excellent communication, clinical judgement, and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility for professional licensing with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), subject to applicable qualification and experience requirements.
