Indian Librarian in Sharjah, UAE
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Indian Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources, providing assistance to library patrons, and promoting library services and programs.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
City and Country:
This position is located in Sharjah, UAE.
Nationality/Location Preference:
We are looking for Indian candidates who are currently residing in Sharjah or willing to relocate.
Experience:
No previous experience is required for this position. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Candidates must have their own valid visa to work in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library resources such as books, magazines, newspapers, and audio/visual materials.
- Assist library patrons with finding and borrowing materials.
- Create engaging displays and activities to promote library services and programs.
- Manage library budget and make purchasing decisions for new materials.
- Train and supervise library staff members.
- Keep track of borrowed materials and ensure they are returned on time.
- Develop partnerships with local schools or community organizations to promote the use of the library.
- Stay updated on new technologies and trends in the library field.
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with different types of library resources and technology systems.
