Job Overview
Seeking Secondary Science (Physics) Teacher for Sharjah, Aug ’26 Start. Secondary Science Teacher (Physics Specialism)
Start Date:
August 2026 Curriculum: IB MYP / IB DP / Australian. Salary:
Competitive and tax free, dependent on experience.
Contract:
2 years.
You will be expected to teach Physics within the Secondary School (typically Grade 9 to Grade 12). Experience delivering engaging, inquiry-based science lessons and developing strong conceptual understanding aligned with the IB MYP and/or IB DP frameworks is highly desirable.
Applicants must be qualified teachers, holding degree-level certification in Physics or Science and QTS or equivalent. You should have at least 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, USA, or Canada.
Experience teaching IB MYP and/or IB Diploma Programme Physics is highly desirable. Australian curriculum experience is highly sought after; however, teachers with alternative curriculum experience who can evidence excellent teaching practice are also encouraged to apply. Previous international teaching experience is welcomed. Previous EAL teaching experience is also highly desirable.
Package- Monthly tax-free salary of 12,000 AED up to 17,000 AED, depending on experience and qualifications
