The Department of Public Policy, College of Public Policy seeks experienced faculty members at the rank of Associate Professor to join our academic team in the academic year 2026/2027 commencing September 2026. The ideal candidate will be expected to contribute to graduate teaching, research leadership, academic supervision, and program development within the Master of Arts program in Public Policy.
Responsibilities- Teach and coordinate Master's level courses in Public Policy fields including economics, policy analysis, ethics, and financial governance.
- Maintain a sustained and recognized research agenda with peer‑reviewed publications.
- Provide academic advising to graduate students.
- Supervise Master's theses and applied research projects.
- Mentor junior faculty members where required.
- Lead curriculum development and course review initiatives.
- Serve actively on departmental, college, and accreditation committees.
- Support community engagement and policy‑oriented initiatives.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Public Policy or a related field
, with:
- Proven record of effective graduate‑level teaching.
- Established research and publication profile.
- Demonstrated experience in postgraduate supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to contribute to accreditation, assessment, and quality assurance.
- Collaborative and leadership‑oriented mindset.
