It offers the Australian (Victorian) curriculum to more than 4,000 students, making us the largest provider of the Victorian F‑10 curriculum outside Australia.

Sharjah is the cultural capital of the UAE and the school is located on the east coast. Staff often live in the nearby emirate of Fujairah, providing coastal living within a short distance of the campus. The RoleYou will teach Business Studies at secondary level, covering middle and senior school grades through the Australian curriculum. Currently the school serves up to Grade 10, but plans to become a full K‑12 institution. Experience teaching Grade 7 to 12 is required.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Victorian (Australian) curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment with a strong focus on student well‑being
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, demonstrating cultural sensitivity
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate studies in education or a relevant teaching subject
- Valid teaching licence or current teaching registration preferably from Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, UK, US or Canada (e.g., VIT, QTS)
- Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification teaching experience at the relevant age range
- Experience with the Australian Curriculum is advantageous but not essential
- Previous international teaching experience, particularly within the Middle East context, would be an advantage
